Chip and PIN security


Your 1st Stop Prepaid MasterCard is very safe. Just like many other credit and debit cards, your card comes with Chip and PIN security.

When you use your card in shops, you’ll be asked to insert your card into the card reader and input your PIN. This is a lot safer than just having to sign for purchases. For added security you should try and shield your hand when inputting your PIN, so that no one else can see what it is. If you think someone might know your PIN, contact our management team.
